IIA to develop new ISP code to tackle child pornography

The Internet Industry Association, Australia’s national industry body for internet commerce, content and connectivity,announced that it would move to develop a voluntary industry code of practice for ISPs to block child pornography websites on the internet.

Notes from Meeting with ACTA Negotiators

Courtesy of Sean Flynn Associate Director, Program on Information Justice and Intellectual Property Professorial Lecturer in Residence, we are pleased to provide a record of the state of ACTA negotiations.

On June 28, 2010, at 7:30pm Swiss time, a group of civil society representatives met with 21 ACTA negotiators. The negotiators included representatives from the Switzerland, France, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Mexico, Japan, U.S., Morocco, Canada and Korea.
