Internet Industry Association

The next IIA, NPAC meeting will be held in Sydney on 1 September 2010 from 

10am to 1pm at Gilbert + Tobin Lawyers at 1 Park Street Sydney.  

The theme for the next NPAC will be 'Fostering Better Collaboration Between

Industry and Research' in the hope of building a better evidence base for

internet policy. This is consistent with one of the main recommendations

from our Manifesto.

Dr Terry Cutler, deputy chair of CSIRO and chair of the Innovation Review

Taskforce will attend, together with some leading academic researchers in

the areas of broadband and social policy. We hope to use this occasion to

build bridges between the research sector and industry with a view to

fostering funding support in areas of mutual interest.
