Following the AGM meeting of 18 February 2010, the outgoing chairman, Chris Hancock (CEO, AARNet) announced the new Board for the Internet Industry Association in 2010.

  • Greg Bader, Chief Technology Officer, iiNet Ltd
  • Samantha Yorke, Director Yahoo! Asia Pacific
  • Assoc. Professor Matthew Allen, Head of Department of Internet Studies , Curtin University of Technology
  • Patrick Fair, Partner, Baker & McKenzie Lawyers
  • Peter Leonard, Partner, Gilbert + Tobin Lawyers
  • Nick Ellsmore, Chief Technical Officer, stratsec
  • Charles Heunemann, Managing Director Asia Pacific Operations, Webroot Software

The new members join current members:

  • Chris Hancock - CEO, AARNet
  • Rob Forsyth – Managing Director, Sophos Asia
  • Billy Tucker – Drector of Business Development, Microsoft
  • Brian Currie – GM Regulatory Affairs Vodafone,  Hutchinson Australia
  • Bruce Linn – industry veteran of over 30 years who was elected chairman for 2010.
